How to apply Cornhole Wraps

Cornhole wraps measure 24 inches by 48 inches, which are the dimensions of a regulation-size cornhole board.
These wraps are ready for application, whether your cornhole set is painted or has a natural finish. The decals will have a lot more adhesion if there is a clean and non-porous surface so make sure there is no dirt or debris on the top of your set. Other than a little coordination, you won’t need much to apply your cornhole wrap or decal.

It’s advised to have on-hand:
-A paint brush roller, or fine synthetic brush to apply polyurethane
-Water-based polyurethane
-A sharp blade, knife or scissors
-A non-destructive tape such as masking or painter’s tape

Steps:

1.) Remove package contents from your new wraps and place on a flat surface.
2.) Place the translucent-masking side up, and position onto your cornhole board to the desired location.
3.) Apply a single piece of tape to the middle of each side (2 pieces total) and to the middle of the bottom to secure the wrap to your cornhole set.
4.) From the unsecured side, remove the backing to the decal and cut the smooth backing that has been removed from the decal (Don’t cut the sticker!).
5.) Using a very light hand and squeegee, as if quickly sweeping debris off a table, start from the middle outward and do not backtrack. Do this motion to remove the air bubbles from beneath the vinyl as you apply the cornhole decal.
6.) Repeat step 4 and 5 for the bottom side of the board.
7.) With your sharp knife, cut out the area of the hole. You can quickly find the hole by running your finger around the top of your board until you find it. Don’t be afraid to press down if you’re unsure- your decal should be tightly secured by this time.
8.) Protect your boards! With your paint brush roller or synthetic brush, go ahead and coat the applied decal with a coat of polyurethane. You will want to make sure this is in a very clean environment away from bugs, airborne dust and any other debris. Make sure all tape and items are removed from board except the cornhole board and the cornhole wrap, prior to beginning this step.
9.) Repeat these steps for the matching board and you have a beautiful looking cornhole set.
